Congratulations on your pregnancy - let us share the rest of your journey through pregnancy, labour, delivery and the first few weeks at home with your new addition ...

We are a group of five midwives providing exceptional midwifery care in the West Auckland area with over thirty years midwifery experience between us. We have a passion for continuity of care (following the same woman through the entire pregnancy, birth and postnatal experience) and enjoy doing this with warmth, a sense of humour and a friendly listening ear. We are all members of the College of Midwives and our midwifery practice is regularly appraised through participation in the Midwifery Standards Review Programme.

Our belief is that pregnancy and birth are normal, natural life events and mostly occur without any problems. We work with each family and individually tailor your care depending on your circumstances.

We are able to order all relevant blood tests, scans and prescribe medications related to your pregnancy. If you are a New Zealand citizen this is a free service. Pregnancy tests are also provided free of charge, if you contact us and drop into one of our clinics.

We are conveniently located at 274 Te Atatu Rd, Te Atatu South and cover most areas of West Auckland from as far as Kumeu and West Harbour to New Lynn and Blockhouse Bay. Our clinic days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.

Waitakere Maternity Unit is our preferred place of delivery where we offer full labour and delivery care. However, for healthy women without pregnancy complications (living in West Auckland), we can provide the option of a home birth.

Please click on 'About Us' and read a little more about each of the three of us and then 'Contact Us' when you choose who you would like to care for you during your pregnancy. The three of us work closely together and support each other during weekends off, holidays and busy periods. This ensures that you will have continuity of care even if your LMC is temporarily unavailable.

There is a shortage of Independent Midwives in West Auckland so it is never too early to make contact and we all limit how many women we can safely care for each month.

Congratulations again and all the best for a healthy, happy pregnancy.
